Position Description:
Paul D. Camp Community College (PDCCC) is a small 2-year college in Southeast Virginia. Campuses are located in Franklin and Suffolk. There is also a center in Smithfield. The college offers associate degrees, certificates, and career studies certificates in transfer and career/technical programs; credit and non-credit workforce services and training for businesses and industries; special interest classes for the community; and summer classes for youth through the Regional Workforce Development Center. A dual enrollment program for high school students, online courses, and developmental studies classes are available at the college as well.
 
PDCCC is currently recruiting for an Information Technology (IT) Team Lead. This position will provide support to the Computing Services and Business Offices within Paul D. Camp Community College. The IT Team Lead will be responsible for the analysis, design, programming, and training requirements to support the College PeopleSoft Student Information System (SIS), Accounting Information System (AIS), and Human Capital Management (HCM). Meet with users to determine the resolution of customer service requests, implement data extraction applications (e.g., queries, reports, etc.), and empower the user to perform tasks primarily in a PeopleSoft environment. Provide Server administration, Application Administration, Networking, inventory, and desktop support that result in high-quality functional operations of the college’s applications and technical infrastructure.

Requirements: 
Proficient in administering and configuring various types of on-prem and cloud software applications. Skilled in gathering technical requirements, resolving customer service requests, and implementing data extraction for software applications. Demonstrated competence in system analysis, project management, and project implementation, following the complete IT "Systems Development Life Cycle. Proficient in resolving customer service requests, writing code, and implementing data extraction applications within an enterprise resource planning application or accounting information system. Thorough understanding of analysis and programming technologies. Enable the maximization of efficiency and effectiveness in data extraction applications for application reporting. Ability to interpret, analyze, and assess the impact of new policies, plans, and audit requirements, and effectively document and implement them. Skilled in providing user equipment and application support, troubleshooting user support tickets, and identifying solutions. Strong ability to manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive tasks and projects. Effective written communication skills for clear and concise interaction with both technical and non-technical personnel.
 
Additional Considerations:
Experience with desktop support, application development, and application security.  Microsoft or CompTIA certifications. Microsoft 365 administration portal, ERP portals, and applications.
