The class will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Aug. 9 and 16. This is an eight-hour, non-credit course that provides an overview of the statutes and regulations that govern contractor licensing in Virginia. The course, led by Donald Goodwin, city of Franklin director of community development, is approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and Board of Contractors. Successful completion earns a participant .8 continuing education units (CEUs).
