Chowan Singers and Men’s Chorus, the premier choral ensembles of Chowan University, will present a concert at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for the concert but tickets are required. The repertoire for this performance will range in style from classical a cappella music to contemporary gospel, and will include choral standards by Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn, and Randall Thompson. Much of the music on this concert was performed during the choirs’ tour to the Charlotte, NC area during the month of February.
