Opportunity Summary
U-LAUNCH: Childhood Development Homes (CDH) is seeking entrepreneurial professionals to serve as Independent Contractor Program Specialists. This flexible, field-based opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in early childhood education, family support services, workforce development, or community outreach who are passionate about supporting home-based childcare entrepreneurs.
Program Specialists manage and support a caseload of Approved Childhood Development Homes (CDH), providing training, technical assistance, monitoring, family referrals, and quality improvement support.
Unlike traditional employment, this position is compensated through a commission-based revenue-sharing model tied to assigned program activities and caseload performance.
Compensation Structure
Program Specialists are compensated as Independent Contractors and are not employees of U-LAUNCH: Childhood Development Homes.
Compensation may include:

5% revenue share of administrative fees generated from the contractor's assigned caseload of approved homes, payable for as long as the contractor maintains an active contractual relationship with U-LAUNCH: CDH.

30% of Related Technical Instruction (RTI) administrative fees earned when serving in an approved RTI instructional and administrative capacity.

Additional compensation opportunities may be available based on special projects, training activities, recruitment initiatives, and program growth.
Independent Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, transportation, and business expenses.
Role Summary
The Program Specialist oversees a caseload of up to 25 Childhood Development Homes (CDH) serving children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. The specialist provides referrals, training, coaching, technical assistance, and compliance monitoring to support safe, high-quality, developmentally appropriate childcare programs operating within the U-LAUNCH system.
